About

Mission

The mission of the Temple University Test Center, under the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, is to provide quality customer service, timely data processing and fair and professional test administration for students, faculty, administrators and the broader non-Temple community. We are committed to safeguarding confidential information and providing an optimal testing experience that adheres to the NCTA Professional Standard and Guidelines, as well as Temple University policy.

Test Administration Services

Testing Services offers test administration for students, faculty and community members. Services include administration of admissions tests, certification and licensure exams, credit-by-examination, and many more. In addition, Testing Services supports the administration of placement assessments for the university.

Classroom Exam Scoring

Testing Services offers classroom exam scoring to Temple University faculty. Faculty submit a Classroom Examination Processing Request form, test data and answer keys on approved optical scanning (“bubble”) forms. Testing Services processes the requests and produces a detailed item analysis report along with summary and raw data files.

Data Processing Services

Testing Services also offers data processing for Temple and non-Temple programs. Similar to classroom exam scoring, users submit requests on approved optical scanning (“bubble”) forms. Testing Services processes the requests and produces a detailed item analysis report along with summary and raw data files.
