Sean joined Temple University's Office of Institutional Research and Assessment in 2025, where he manages the collection of high-impact survey data that drives decision-making at the institution. Prior to his arrival to Temple, Sean had served in the Community College of Philadelphia's Office of Institutional Effectiveness for nearly 10 years. In that role, he managed mandated reporting and post-graduation data collection in addition to supporting accreditation, assessment, and data governance efforts at the College. In addition to his work in IE, Sean also served as a part-time instructor in CCP's Education department.
Sean holds a master's degree in psychology from West Chester University, where he worked with the Early Childhood Cognition and Emotions Lab to investigate the impact of bilingualism and arts programming as mitigators of poverty-related risk among Head Start preschoolers. During this time, Sean also supported the growth of the nascent Youth Empowerment and Urban Studies program - a unique minor designed to prepare students for leadership in urban communities. Throughout his career in higher education, Sean has remained committed to advancing the missions of large, public institutions by making available institutional data that is accessible, reliable, and actionable.
